To Our Patients,
Here’s a quick update regarding where we are at in terms of reopening. As you may know the government has advised that dental practices can reopen as of 8th June. There are currently many obstacles for us to overcome, such as a national PPE shortage. With this in mind, our planned return date is 22nd June.
In the meantime, we have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to enhance and adjust our pre-existing high standards to fit the current climate. The health and safety of our staff and patients is of utmost importance. New measures are being implemented at the practice to minimise your contact with other patients, providing the safest environment we can for you and adhering to government guidelines. Please rest assured that all of our staff members are trained with in depth knowledge about infection control, and our excellent hygiene standards are something that we pride ourselves on.
We are planning a phased return to work. Phase One will involve prioritising patients needing urgent treatment. Although we are keen to return to normality, we feel it is important to advise you that routine dental appointments are unlikely to take place until the end of July.
Prior to your appointment, you will receive a series of text messages. The first message will include a link for an online medical history, to be completed before attending. The second message will arrive approximately an hour before your appointment time, and will have a link for online check in. You will be able to check in online up to 30 minutes before your appointment time. Please do not check in until you are waiting outside the practice.
We will also be implementing new payment features. A standard check-up fee will be taken over the phone at the time of booking the appointment, in order to minimise waiting times at reception. Any additional charges for the appointment can be paid online, by various contactless payment methods or over the phone. We will also have a special protocol for cash payments.
Thank you for your patience in these difficult times and we look forward to seeing you all in the near future!
Best wishes, Soumil, Sheetal and the team.
